Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American Actor, best known as a star of the well-known TV series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While in college, he started to develop an interest in acting. At his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. He has been in TV and films, however it was his small-screen characters which gained him fame as well as an extensive audience. He can play each of the characters on behalf of the police as well as the other. That's what makes him so popular. His initial project was a television show, and later, he played an officer for the NYPD. Multiple times he was nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. It is his trademark eyelashes that are piercing and blue, which can be said to help his look attractive. They've assisted in play tough characters in a charming style. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
